A LITTLE ABOUT THIS SECTION
Projects
In this section, you’ll find a selection of my personal photography projects. These projects reflect my passion for capturing unique moments, exploring diverse themes, and pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling.
Exploring Queerness and Black Personhood
My projects focus on celebrating queerness, Black personhood, community, mental health, and how these overlap. Through a series of portraits and conceptual shots, I aim to highlight the beauty and individuality of Blackness and queerness.
ABOUT THE PROCESS
My Process
Creating personal projects is an intimate and exploratory journey for me. I start with a concept or theme that resonates deeply, often inspired by my own experiences and the stories of those around me. I engage in extensive research and reflection to understand the nuances of the theme. Collaboration is a key element of my process; I work closely with my subjects, often incorporating their insights and ideas to enrich the narrative. During the shoot, I experiment with various techniques and lighting.
